Handbuilt and glazed in my studio in the south west of Britain and sold in gift shops across the UK.
Every cow I make is unique in both style and glaze pattern. I start with molding a basic form from stoneware clay, onto this I add two layers of "fur" by extruding clay and attaching by hand. I add the hand molded head and horn and complete the fur over the head. The cow is then fired to 1000 degrees. I hand paint each cow once it has had this first firing. The cows are then fired again to 1230 degrees after which they are ready for sale. The process makes the pottery totally waterproof and durable. Your little cow will last for your lifetime and beyond with care not to break her.
Every cow I make is unique in both style and glaze pattern as we never use moulds.
This little lady is one of our rusty cows. The cow supplied will vary slightly from the image but will be the same quality as you will be receiving one from from our stock.
